Your Divorce, Your Way

Thank you for joining DIY Online Divorce. We are still building out the tools and resources on this site and are adding more and more information on a daily basis.

If you haven’t already, take a minute to review the roadmap on this page that will help to guide you through the entire process from beginning to end.

If you need additional coaching or help, here is a link to the various services we offer to help you manage this process.

For now, here are links to the DIY Interviews that are currently available:

What are your Goals? Before you jump into the legal documents it is important to get clear about what exactly you want out of this process, and why you want to end your marriage in the first place. This is a great article to start with. Includes an online interview for you to complete that will give you a sense of where you are at on a personal level right now.

Separation Agreement and Property Settlement – This agreement will get you 95% of the way there. But review this carefully as you may need to make some minor edits after you have finished. If you would like one of our lawyers to review your agreement for you, you can schedule a (paid) call or upgrade to the DIY Plus plan which will allow you to have us review and assist in drafting this document for you.

Absolute Divorce – Use this link to prepare all the documents you will need to file your absolute divorce. This is still in Beta – if you are ready to file your Absolute Divorce, please let us know so that we can walk you through and make sure you don’t have any hiccups. Here is a link to a 3-part video mini-training that will walk you through the entire process in about 30 minutes. And you don’t have to watch it all at once, but rather the training is broken up into bite-sized videos will help you based on where you are in the process.
